If the detailed data is available for your machine, you will likely find the part listed, perhaps as " FINGERPRINT RDR" or similar. We do not want to know your serial number - this is something you can check for yourself. One way I have found to check - aside from pulling apart the machine or depending on the documentation and the device manager - is to use Part Surfer with the serial number of the device. I would "guess" just based on the fact that you cannot find a BIOMETRICS entry in the Device Manager, that your machine does not include the fingerprint reader hardware.

To verify you have a fingerprint reader and not a plug, press the Windows key on your keyboard, select Settings, select Accounts, and then select Sign-in options and follow the on-screen instructions.

Your product is listed as "Base Model" - this is perhaps not the same thing as the "full" model in terms of what is included. So, I was curious about this but could not check on it until now.
